Join us as we celebrate the holidays at The Link’s Virtual Holiday Happy Hour with special guests Karen Hinsdale and Maria Ponzi.  What is happening with the wine industry in Oregon??? These 2 experts will tell us what’s happening now. Grab a Ponzi wine and join us! There is always LOTS of laughter!  Members and previous members are welcome!

About Maria

Anna Maria Ponzi is President, Director of Sales and Marketing, Second-Generation Vintner and Owner at Ponzi Vineyards, perched atop the Chehalem Mountains in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. For 30 years, Anna Maria and her sister—Winemaker Luisa Ponzi—have operated the winery founded by their parents in 1970. Together, they have grown the business into a wine-industry leader. Anna Maria is actively involved in philanthropic organizations and events. She is currently a board member for ¡Salud! The Oregon Pinot Noir Auction and Project Lemonade as well as being a commissioner on the Oregon Tourism Commission and Vice President of the Oregon Winegrowers Association.


About Karen

Karen Hinsdale is known for knowing wines! An Oregonian through and through she was born in Klamath Falls and went to the University of Oregon!  She has been the co-owner and marketing manager for Henny-Hinsdale Wines, Inc. a distributor of premium wines in Oregon and a consultant to Henny-Hinsdale Wines Inc. for marketing and promotions as well as the marketing consultant to Rex Hill Winery and Willamette Farms. Since 1995, Karen has been the owner of The Cellar Door a retail wine store in Portland.  Karen is affliated with Bai

li Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs and the Knights of the Vine. Among her numerous civic activities she is the founder and was on the Board of Directors of the Classic Wine Auction  and is currently on the Board of Directors of AAA Oregon and  Idaho as well as the Vice President of Project Lemonade. She lives in Portland and is married to Michael!
